People now slow down to peek at my picturesque property. It is important to note that Allen came on time, finished the job on time, and did not exceed his estimate. He treated my property as if it were his own. Allen cared so much that he would drive by every day to check on the progress of the work. I highly recommend him.<\/p><\/div> Allen has gone out of his way to work with our timetable, and some of the ideas we have for our outdoor space. He has a vast knowledge of horticulture and works very hard to get his customers the best prices on trees, bushes, etc. A few years ago we purchased a home situated on a slight hill with very little sun on half the backyard. The other half of the yard was being overtaken by wisteria which were strangling the other trees. The deer had decimated most of the shrubs as well. Allen artfully culled old, dead and diseased trees from around our property.\u00a0 As a result, we have a beautiful emerald lawn everyone wants to walk on barefoot!<\/p><\/div> For more than a decade, Allen & Eve has been taking care of some major problems and maintaining the areas around my house. The work is precise and timely, and Allen\u2019s attention to detail in the planning and implementation in all the projects he has done has been excellent throughout. Some of the projects over the years include: suggesting and installing deer fencing before the deer in my area became a problem, thereby saving my landscaping from destruction; fixing a water problem in my basement no one else could, by installing an effective drainage system into the surrounding yard. Now I can actually use my basement for dry storage no matter the weather. Allen & Eve has installed and transplanted over 30 large shrubs and trees on a small piece of property, expertly situating and caring for them \u2013 and NONE of them have failed to survive. Allen’s deep knowledge base is proactive in stopping problems before they start and he is open to all suggestions about how we want our yard to be.<\/p><\/div> Allen & Eve Landscaping came highly recommended by some friends who had used them for their property. Allen impressed me with his knowledge of plants and his patience in listening to me. I had an issue with my backyard in that it did not receive much natural light. Through some magnificent pruning, it allowed me to add evergreen trees. Allen & Eve also took care of other problematic areas in my yard. We have come up with a comprehensive plan for them to continue to maintain and beautify my property.\u201d<\/p><\/div> Firstly, the owner, Allen, actually calls you right back. He will make an appointment and arrive on time. He then will listen to what you are thinking, make recommendations and communicate back with an estimate. All without multiple phone calls!\u00a0 Allen has both knowledge of and respect for growing things. He will choose the right plantings for the location and will prepare the planting site carefully. With Allen & Eve Landscaping you will receive the rare combination of knowledge, experience, respect and reliability. We have for many year and you deserve the same.<\/p><\/div> I have occasion on a regular basis to walk by a property that Allen & Eve maintains in my neighborhood. I admired how great the trees, shrubs and beds looked – a little bit of paradise. Others in the area share the same opinion. Then Allen did a driveway and walkway project right up the street from me. Another true work of art. My project was much smaller in scope but Allen treated it with the same TLC.\u00a0 He showed up on time, quoted a fair price and did exactly what he said he was going to do. In my experience these are rare qualities for companies doing work on the East End. I would highly recommend Allen and Eve to anyone who takes pride in keeping their property beautiful.<\/p><\/div> I called Allen & Eve Landscaping about a project to remove 40-year-old yews from the front of my house. They responded promptly and the job was done well. The next step was to prune the tall trees to allow more sun in and to improve growing conditions for new plantings.\u00a0 Allen made suggestions and came up with a list of deer resistant plants, and even accompanied me to the nursery to guide my purchases. He already had a vision of how to arrange the plants. The result was a delight! The new plants provided a fresh look for the front of my house. I\u2019m very pleased with every aspect of my dealings with Allen & Eve Landscaping.<\/p><\/div> Allen and his team have been amazing to work with over the past year. When we purchased an older home recently in Springs, it needed a bunch of landscaping work immediately.\u00a0 From organizing clearing and taking down trees, to regrading and sodding after a pool installation, Allen has done it all for us. His prices are fair, his work of amazing quality, and his communication with us throughout every single step absolutely perfect.\u00a0 \u00a0 Can\u2019t recommend Allen and his team enough.<\/p><\/div> Allen was doing the landscaping for the property when I bought in Springs. He and his team, especially his assistant Pedro, have been great. We built a pool, and he arranged for all the trimming and excavation of necessary trees, and the tree cutting into lumber that we will use over time. Allen is always here when he says he wil be, listens and offers good advice. He continues to be our landscaper and I look forward to doing many projects with him. I highly recommend his business, its services and his team.<\/p><\/div> Whenever friends come over the house they always comment on how beautiful the yard is. The grass is lush and green and all the different flowers are just so beautiful. you’re even able to put up bushes around the perimeter of the yard for privacy. \u00a0and I don’t know what I would do without them when it comes to fall cleanup. When they are done the property as neat as a pin. thanks guys.<\/p><\/div> Unlike most landscapers we encountered, Allen is immediately responsive and always willing to discuss ideas and go the extra mile (literally) to get things done, as well as suggest ideas within a budget. He has carefully and thoughtfully worked with us over the past few years to bring our property back to life and better than ever\u2013\u2013so much so that a friend drove past our house because she didn’t recognize it!
